Free Apple Watch app
Free means free. No subscription, no ads, no sign-up.
The Kronoset Apple Watch app comes with a standalone mode that scores a whole match from the watch, without owning a Kronoset scoreboard. Nothing is locked behind a Pro upgrade: what you see on this page is what you get, and all of it is free.
If you ever buy a Kronoset scoreboard, the same app connects to it and controls it. But you don't need to buy anything to keep score on the watch.

Home screen on the watch.
How it works
- Open the app on the watch and tap Standalone mode.
- Pick your sport and game format.
- One tap on a team's side adds a point.
- Press and hold that same side to take it back if you got it wrong.
- Swipe sideways for games, sets, changing format or resetting.
The watch buzzes when you score, when a game closes and when the match ends. You don't need to look at the screen mid-rally — you feel it on your wrist.

Tap to add, press and hold to take back.

Works with no phone and no signal
The score is worked out on the watch itself. No iPhone in your pocket, no mobile data, no wifi. On an indoor court or a fronton with no reception it behaves exactly the same.
What it doesn't do
We'd rather be straight about it: standalone mode is a scoreboard, not a match diary. It keeps no history and no statistics, and it doesn't share the result with other players. It exists so nobody on court argues about the score. That's all.

Works with Apple Watch. The watch app installs alongside the iPhone app.
What about the physical scoreboard?
The watch settles the score for the people playing. The Kronoset scoreboard settles it for everyone watching: it mounts on the court glass, it's readable from outside, and points go up by holding your paddle to the sensor — no buttons.
Use the app as much as you like. If one day you want the rest of the court to see the score too, you know where we are.
