Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia won the CUPRA Germany Premier Padel P2 in Düsseldorf on Sunday 11 October, beating Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz 6-2, 7-6 in an hour and 23 minutes. In the women's final, Claudia Fernández and Martina Calvo swept past Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero 6-3, 6-0 in just over an hour.
It is the world number ones' 11th title of 2026 and their third in a row, following the Paris Major and the Rotterdam P2. The final was a rerun of the previous week's in the Netherlands, with the same outcome. Stupaczuk and Sanz, who had once again knocked out Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto in the semi-finals, pulled level at 2-2 in the first set before dropping four games in a row. They pushed the second set to a tie-break but lost it too. According to Padel Addict, it is their third losing final in three weeks, after Lyon and Rotterdam. "This is our first title in Germany", said Coello, who also pointed to how fast padel is growing in the country.
The women's final was a rematch. At the Paris Major, Sánchez and Ustero had beaten Fernández and Calvo for the title; in Düsseldorf the fourth seeds, born in 2006 and 2008, were in charge from start to finish and closed out the second set without dropping a game. It is their second title as a pair, after the London P1, and their first at P2 level. A day earlier they had needed more than three hours to get past Paula Josemaría and Bea González in the semi-finals. For Sánchez and Ustero, champions in Paris and Rotterdam, the run of back-to-back titles ends here.
There is no break on the tour: the OYSHO Milano Premier Padel P1 starts on Monday at the Allianz Cloud, where Galán and Chingotto defend their title.
